10-Minute Jazz Scale Inventory

Modes, Blues, Pentatonic and Wholetone Scales in Three Keys
Like other sets in Jim Mahaffey’s Ten-Minute series for jazz ensemble, these three unison warmups can be performed by your group in a 10-minute warmup at the beginning of your rehearsal. Each section is in a familiar key (Concert Bb, Eb or F) and inludes scales in each of the seven modes plus the blues, pentatonic and whole tone scales. A must-have for every jazz lab.
