American Folk Rhapsody No. 1

The first of four American Folk Rhapsodies, this superb work, originally written in 1948, is a wonderful example of the exceptional writing/arranging skills of Clare Grundman. Including: My Little Mohee (more commonly known as On Top of Old Smokey), Shantyman’s Life, Sourwood Mountain and Sweet Betsy from Pike, this is an outstanding, proven work for both concert and contest.
