Tenebrae – Nocturne No. 6, Op. 139

Tenebrae is Bacri’s sixth Nocturne for piano. The work was completed in July 2016 as a commission from the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition where it featured as the compulsory piece for the finalists of its 27th competitio in August 2017. Featuring a simple structure, it is imbued with a tragic feeling.
