Introduction to Sitar

The primary purpose of this publication is to provide a working knowledge of the sitar to those people who wish to acquire the basic skills in tuning, holding, fingering and plucking techniques as well as general care of the instrument even if they do not intend to use it to play Indian music. The methods described in this publication can progressively be adapted to more advanced techniques of the instrument.
