Saxology: Evan’s Dance

This medium-tempo samba, “Evan’s Dance,” makes creative use of counterpoint throughout the piece, and all instruments have interesting parts to play. Although originally written for five saxophones (AATTBar) and piano, this arrangement works equally well using the optional parts for a trumpet/flugelhorn and trombone.
