The opening Ukranian Bell Carol is given a Spanish flavor (with castanets) before moving into the well-known March of the Toys from “Babes in Toyland.” A sensitive and harmonically engaging version of The First Noel features solo oboe (cued in the alto saxophone). Jolly Old Saint Nicholas and Jingle Bells cap this dynamic arrangement as it comes to a rollicking conclusion! Highly recommended!
