Toccatina in A Minor

Using a wide range of the keyboard, this polymetric intermediate piece is a showstopper! Interesting chromatic passages and cascading cross-hand arpeggios give it dramatic flair. Starting in 5/4 with a triplet pulse, then a R.H. chordal middle section in 6/8, it goes back to the original theme and crescendos to f with “senza rit.” Great choice for a performance piece!
