Running of the Trolls

This fun and quick-paced late elementary solo is a wonderful option for a recital piece, especially for students who may be transitioning to intermediate repertoire. The piece has easy melodies and specific articulation with open fifths in left and right hands. There are even a few measures with layered pitches where students can get used to holding on to notes with their thumbs while voicing the melody using other fingers.
