The Toreador!

Written in middle D position for the late elementary piano student, this piece does not have a key signature, reinforcing the idea that a flat sign is only in effect for the measure in which it appears. There are also changes in tempo and time signatures, from 3/4 to 4/4 and back to 3/4. The illustration of a Spanish matador on the cover and second page is reflected in the exotic melody.
