A fine choice for Christmas recitals, this joyous bell song will please everyone and show the skills of an intermediate level pianist, especially with it’s “ringing” section where the left hand plays hand-over-hand with “low bells” and “high bells.” The left hand also gets a bit of scale work and finger pedaling, and both hands get phrasing challenges and wide swings in dynamics.
