Bayou Farewell

A Metheny-ish ballad with straight eighths with sort of a melancholy feeling, Graham Breedlove’s use of color is superb, with soprano sax (alternate alto 1 included) and flugelhorns. Solo space provided for soprano, trumpet 2, and guitar followed by a soaring ensemble shout. Lead trumpet range is to written high C and an optional 5th trumpet part is included. Memorable!
