Celebration and Dance

The Eidgenössische Musikfest 2011 can only be described in superlatives: around 550 music associations and 23,000 musicians came together at the world’s largest music festival, which convenes every five years in Switzerland. Gilbert Tinner’s Celebration and Dance is a composition written especially for this festival. As the title suggests, the grand fanfare, festive hymn, and animated dance are important parts of this work, capturing the festive character at this unique musical event! Dur: 4:40 (Grade 4)
