A Cantata for Soloists, Chorus, Children’s Chorus & Orchestra
This 15-minute narrative cantata is the central portion of Rodríguez’s multi-media Mexican folk celebration Adoración Ambulante. The American premiere, in October of 1998, was performed separately as a concert work with the University of Miami chorus and orchestra conducted by Thom Sleeper, and it was subsequently recorded for Albany Records.
