Concerto Alfresco for Trumpet and Chamber Orchestra, Full Score

Infused with latin rhythms and improvisatory jazzlike passages for the trumpet soloist, the mood of this single-movement concerto is light and effervescent. This work was awarded First Prize in the Doc Severinsen International Composition Contest and premiered by the University of Tennessee Symphony, Allen Vizzutti trumpet soloist. Length ca. 9′.
