Daybreak

Daybreak was written as programmatic depiction of the evolution of an ordinary day, from sunrise to sunset. As our day develops, the music moves from quietly subdued to light and fanciful, then to broad and melodic, and finally to a driving, muscular, and powerfully dissonant conclusion. (4:00)
