Sidney Corbett’s Emiliana (Eight Pieces for Young Pianists) is a four-minute work for solo piano that Sidney Corbett composed for his daughter. Each of the eight pieces poses a different musical question and reflects the composer’s way of thinking musically, but in simplified form. Emiliana was premiered by Emily Corbett at the Parkfest in Schwetzingen in July 2017.
