Front Porch Jam

Written by Dean Marshall, artistic director of Barrage, this arrangement of the tune Front Porch Jam provides the chance for your entire orchestra to duplicate the feel of the stage show. Originally a violin showcase, exciting parts for each section abound while maintaining the feel of the original. Front Porch Jam was inspired by the American bluegrass tradition; it provides some technical challenge for the first violins while remaining accessible to the orchestra.
