Visual artists and composers have often been influenced by each other’s work; James Beckel took inspiration from five paintings to compose In the Mind’s Eye, employing musical effects that replicate various brush stroke techniques. Movement 1 – Random Abstract Movement 2 – Daniel in the Lion’s Den Movement 3 – Reflections (Fifth Horn part is optional)
