Legends of the Canyon

This early intermediate solo is excellent for developing a keen listening ear, finely tuned to the sounds one might hear in canyon echoes. The slow tempo and key of G minor help to create the mysterious atmosphere. Written entirely using fifths in both hands with exacting dynamic variations, the syncopated damper pedal helps to create a rich palette of sound. The ABA form will aid in learning and memorizing.
