The lyrics for this German Christmas carol “Leise rieselt der Schnee,” or “Softly Falls the Snow” was originally written by Eduard Ebel (1839–1905), a Protestant pastor, poet and composer. It has now been arranged by Frank Reinshagen for saxophone quartet (SATBar/AATBar).
