Lir Illir

A traditional piece of music from Java in an easy arrangement for jazz combo. Repetitive patterns, simple melodies, and the vibrant rhythms of gamelan music take the audience on a journey to the South Seas. “Lir Ilir,” arranged by Frank Reinshagen, is particularly suitable for lessons at school or music school since it can be optionally performed with flute, clarinet, or tuba.
