Malcolm Arnold: Sarabande For Flute And Piano (Solitaire)

This work, originally for orchestra, was one of two new pieces added to Arnold’s English Dances of 1951 to complete the score of Kenneth MacMillan’s Solitaire, first performed in 1956 by the Royal Ballet at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London. This arrangement is by Alan Poulton.
