March Petite (from Symphony No. 8)

Based on the stately march theme from Beethoven’s 8th Symphony, this arrangement is a great example of Beethoven’s mix of seriousness with his wry sense of humor. Jamin has included some nice feature moments for the under-worked and under-appreciated low strings.
