Mountain View Portrait

Composed in a fast-slow-fast overture form, Mountain View Portrait is a festive work written in celebration of the 100th year of existence of the city of Mountain View, California. The composition features several aspects of the city’s picturesque landscape. Also suggested by the music is the multicultural character and pioneering spirit of the people.
