Using two distinctive themes from Dvorák’s Symphony No. 9 (From The New World), Paul Murtha has crafted an effective piece for beginning bands. The opening slow section from the 2nd movement is followed by the familiar powerful strains of the 4th movement. An excellent introduction for beginners to one of the great classical composers.
