Oquirrh Mountains Shining

This late intermediate level solo was commissioned for the 20th anniversary of the Jordan River Chapter of the Utah Music Teachers Association. Oquirrh, pronounced “Oak-er” means shining mountains. This piece displays the image of these brilliant mountains through the continuing running eighth note patterns in both hands with splashes of color throughout.
