A work for flute, clarinet, horn, trumpet, violin, viola and cello and commissioned by Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) and Alexei Lubimov through BAC’S John Cage and Merce Cunningham Fellowship. The fellowship was established to further the legacies of John Cage and Merce Cunningham through annual awards to artists embodying Cage and Cunningham’s dedication to innovation and collaboration across disciplines.
