As might be expected, there is a lot of staccato playing in this descriptive little song. It is written in G Major, and the pianist will be using hand-over-hand technique over much of the keyboard. Reading both hands in the same clef is also a challenge of this piece, and strict counting and tempo observance are also required. A Federation Festivals 2016-2020 selection.
