Reverie, For Clarinet And Piano

French composer, Robert Truillard published his Reverie in 1986. The work remains popular for intermediate clarinetists. With a typical performance lasting around 2 minutes and 46 seconds, Reverie is in Ternary Form, with the ‘B’ section marked ‘Scherzando’ and containing a short cadenza passage. The solo Clarinet part makes use of variety in articulation, tempo, dynamics and phrasing, amongst other aspects.
