Rondo for percussion septet was written while Donald Gilbert, a student of William Schinstine and William Sheet, was attending the Eastman School of Music. Instrumentation: I. Triangle, II. Tambourine, III. Suspended Cymbal and Crash Cymbal, IV. Snare Drum, V. Tympani, VI. Woodblock and Tom-tom, VII. Tam-tam/Gong and Bass Drum
