Saxology: Blues and the Abstract Truth

This work is a burning, up-tempo blues chart called “Blues and the Abstract Truth,” and is patterned after Oliver Nelson’s own version, which can be heard on More Blues and the Abstract Truth. Although originally written for five saxophones (AATTBar) and piano, this arrangement works equally well using the optional parts for a trumpet/flugelhorn and trombone.
