Splash, Splash

What child hasn’t longed to put on a raincoat and splash in the puddles when it’s raining outside? Students can stay dry yet enjoy a rainy day through the lyrics of this piece. Written in Middle C, the single line melody is shared by both the right and left hands. Harmonic thirds and fourths are “sprinkled” throughout, and four-note clusters help to depict the “splash” in the puddle. Don’t get wet!
