The Coventry Carol

This late intermediate arrangement of the Coventry Carol, written in D minor, features an extended bass accompaniment in the left hand. The right-hand melody is harmonized using primarily sixths and thirds. Short, melodic interludes add interest and variety to the familiar melody. This arrangement can be effectively used as a prelude or offertory for Christmas church services.
