The First Noel

Margaret Goldston’s arrangement of the traditional Christmas carol begins peacefully in the key of C with a lyrical statement of the melody in the right hand. The left hand takes over the melody in the treble clef as the piece modulates to the key of F and then comes to a majestic ending with another modulation to the key of G.
