The Ice Cream Truck

Almost everyone has a childhood memory of the ice cream truck driving through the neighborhood in the summertime. This charming solo relives the excitement of waiting for the ice cream truck and hearing it come closer. In Middle C position and 4/4 meter, the melody is divided between the hands. Written in A-B-A form, the B section uses the familiar tune, “London Bridge is Falling Down” to depict the music played by the ice cream truck. An optional teacher duet adds harmony and supplies rhythmic security for young students. Elementary
