The Lord of the Rings – Part 2

Solos by clarinet and alto saxophone announce the opening of Lothlórien followed by a lilting woodwind melody and finally a brass chorale. The scene shifts abruptly in the sinister and menacing Gollum, which features the percussion section punctuated with angular statements from the entire band.
