The Son of God is come to earth (Es ist das Heil uns kommen her)

The first of Brahms’s Two Motets Op. 29, composed in 1860 and published in 1864 this five-part setting (for unaccompanied choir SATBB) consists of a chorale followed by an extended fugal setting based on the chorale melody. Edition Peters vocal score, contains keyboard accompaniment for rehearsal purposes.
