Trente caprices – Vol. 1 for Clarinet is the first volume of two by Ernesto Cavallini. Reviewed by Ulysse Delécluse, this first volume features the caprices 1 to 18, which are approximately two-pages long. Very difficult, these caprices would be beneficial for advanced clarinetists. Ernesto Cavallini (1807-1874) was an Italian Clarinet player and a composer. These Thirty Caprices is one of his most famous set of pieces.
