Sonata in Three Movements
Three as 1 by David Liebman was commissioned by the World Saxophone Congress in 2015 and first performed by Jean-Charles Richard and Eric Ferrand-N’Kaoua. This three-part composition incorporates intimate sounds from the piano and B-flat soprano saxophone and collective improvisation which culminates in the energetic third movement.
