Up Jumped Spring

Freddie Hubbard’s great jazz waltz with the Les Hooper touch is an excellent combination. The trumpet 2 has the initial melody statement and (written-out) solo space and chord changes for alto, tenor, and trombone 1 are also included. This chart floats nicely in three with a fine shout chorus with lead trumpet range to written high C.
