Description: This elementary sonatina is written in classical style and is fun to play. It contains three movements. The first and the third are lively in C Major. The middle movement is slow and in F Major. There are many scale fragments and it fits well under the fingers. Purpose: There are four main purposes for this selection: 1. To introduce the sonatina form. 2. To develop a style for sonatinas. 3. To increase technique performance. 4. To perform. Suggestions for Instruction: Introduce and explain big words: Exposition, Development and Recapitulation. Pay attention to phrasing. Key: C and F Major
