New York, New York, Theme from

This famous theme song from Martin Scorsese’s 1977 film was introduced by Liza Minnelli and made popular by Frank Sinatra. He performed it at Radio City Music Hall in 1978, recorded it in 1979, and it became one of his signature songs. This piano arrangement by Carol Matz will delight late intermediate students with its syncopations, playful textures and climactic ending.
